Light column lift for demountable bodies

On numerous column lifts for containers and demount bodies, the lifting height depends strongly on, and is limited by the height of the body which the column lift is mounted to. As a result, the known container lifts require quite high bodies to achieve the increased floor heights that are so typical for this type of application.

The new container lift DH-VMC3 750kg does away with this drawback, and allows to load / unload at the increased floor heights of container bodies, even in case of containers with very limited body height. Limited body heights are often typical for army vehicles, e.g. where the vehicle or body needs to fit into the belly of a army transport aircraft.

The DH-VMC3 is equipped with a light weight aluminium platform, hydraulic platform closure powered by 2 hydraulic tilt cylinders, and a fully premounted power pack integrated within the lift frame. In stow position, its specially designed lifting columns don’t protrude under the body, so that this body can be easily demounted from the carrier vehicle, and deposited on the ground.

In it’s army configuration, the DH-VMC3 is equipped with full emergency back-up systems; is upgraded to be able to cope with the harsh conditions of military off-road use, changing climates from desert heat to extreme winter cold, etc… ; and is given a supreme paint finish that meets military standards.
