New column lift to lift above vehicle floor level

On regular column, cantilever, slider and tuck-away lifts, the platform travels from the ground to the vehicle floor level, and back. When they are mounted to smaller commercial vehicles with a substantial height difference between the vehicle loading floor, and the height of any standard loading dock, it is impossible to load / unload directly from the vehicle to the loading dock, or vice versa.

Solutions existed already in the past with DHOLLANDIA’s extensive range of multi-deck column lifts, but they are relatively heavy, and require a higher investment. Or with DHOLLANDIA’s DH-VXA column lift, which is however limited to 1000kg capacity and forms an up-market product with substantially longer full aluminum platforms (depth 1600 - 1800 - … - 25000 mm), hydraulical closure with 2 tilt cylinders, adjustable platform orientation, …

The new DH-VOC.15.02 fills that gap in the market with a very robust, heavy duty column lift, lifting max. 1500kg nominal weight up to 1800mm above the ground level (depending on vehicle dimensions).

The DH-VOC.15.02 has manual closure, reinforced by torsion bars in the platform. The lifting movement is driven by a single hydraulic lift cylinder in the horizontal beam mounted at the vehicle floor level, and by a set of chains and chain wheels.

The platform can be made of steel or aluminum. Folding platforms with an articulated aluminum point are available as an option. They allow to store the platform in vertical position below the vehicle floor level, even for vehicles with very low vehicle floor heights.

Should you require further information on this subject, please don’t hesitate to contact your local DHOLLANDIA distributor.
