Until today, DHOLLANDIA’s solutions for tipper vehicles consisted of cantilever lifts (see newsletter JAN.2007), slider lifts, and dump-over column lifts (see newsletter DEC. 2008). The new application introduced today, takes the existing DH-VOC lower beam column lift as start point, and adds a second pair of pivot points at the top corner of the platform.

The articulation pins at the lower corners of the platform can be removed manually, allowing the platform to swing open as soon as the tipper body is lifted off the vehicle chassis. Thus any materials or substances loaded in the tipper body can be dumped through the aperture between the vehicle floor and the open platform.

In the opposite case where the lower articulation pins are mounted, and the pivot points at the top corner of the platform are opened, the platform can be lifted & lowered to load & unload as any other conventional column lift.

The “DUMP-OVER” lift (= option S888, see newsletter JAN.2007) is available in lift capacities of 500 up to 1500 kg. This new “DUMP-THROUGH” lift handles loads up to 500 kg, and can be ordered as DH-VOC with option S803.

It features a light-weight full aluminium platform, manual opening of this platform supported by torsion bars, and heavy-duty steel columns that can be welded or bolted to the vehicle body.
